Continuing the Mission: The Lord’s Blessing Foundation Expands Support for Sickle Cell Warriors

Following the successful drug donation drive held on September 10, 2025, at Pampaso Maternal and Child Health Hospital, The Lord’s Blessing Foundation is proud to report a growing impact in its mission to support individuals living with sickle cell disease across Ghana.

This most recent outreach marked the second in a series of medical interventions focused on providing free, life-sustaining medication to patients. Along with the earlier event at a partnering hospital, the initiative has reached dozens of families, each facing the daily challenge of managing a chronic and often misunderstood condition.

Each sickle cell patient who attended the drive received a three-month supply of essential medication, a gesture that has offered not just physical relief but also emotional encouragement. In areas where access to medication is limited or unaffordable, this kind of support can be life-changing.

The foundation’s Executive Director shared:

“We are not just giving medicine — we are giving people a chance at a better quality of life. We believe every sickle cell warrior deserves to live with dignity, access to care, and the knowledge that they are not alone.”

The foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to the hospital administration, volunteers, and donors whose unwavering support made this event possible. As The Lord’s Blessing Foundation continues to expand its outreach, the goal remains clear: to bring health, hope, and healing to those who need it most.
